"We need more leads," can be a risky directive without visibility into your inventory's supply and demand.

Which vehicles actually need more leads? And which have been burning marketing budget because they have existing high demand?

With new-vehicle inventory recently hitting a four-year high in Q1 of 2024, it got us thinking about which vehicles are most in-demand.

So, we dove into a pool of approximately 700 dealerships to scope out the most sought-after 2023 and 2024 YMMs and their OEMs over the past 3 months (min. 100 units per YMM)

The data analyzes the number of leads Foureyes tracked per YMM and divides it by the inventory listed on dealer sites to get a "leads per unit listed" metric.

Here’s what we found…

Based on leads-per-unit listed from Dec 12, 2023 - March 10, 2024 (min. 100 units).
Highest total lead volume per 2023 and 2024 YMMs from Dec 12, 2023 - March 10, 2024 (min. 100 units).
